Musician Bobi Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, drew thousands of supporters to his final rally on Tuesday even when he had earlier been blocked by police.
The “Bikwase Kyagulanyi” singer was arrested as he addressed his supporters in Kasangati on Tuesday morning and briefly detained at Kira police station.
Speaking about the standoff between Bobi Wine and police that led to his temporary arrest, the Electoral Commission said that he was campaigning in a non gazetted area. “Kasangati has a health centre, a court and detention facility and therefore can not hold any campaigns,” the EC chairperson noted.
Following talks with the police, Bobi was asked to hold his final rally in Gayaza where his supporters still turned up in droves. He extended appreciation to the supporters for standing with him and encouraged them to do the same on polling day.
“I am forever grateful for all our supporters who have been, and continue to be part of this journey. Many thanks to all who have supported us in any way.” He said.
Bobi, who is standing on an independent ticket, will go against FDC’s Apollo Kantinti and NRM’s Sitenda Sebalu among others in a by-election that will be held on Thursday, June 29.
Here are some photos from his final rally.

Moodiness can be pretty frustrating when you are in a relationship. Having a moody partner is not an easy thing to deal with. It can be like constantly walking on eggshells. So, what can you do? Try these ideas.1. Determine if this is moodiness or something that needs more attention
It is important to determine whether your partner is just having moods or if they actually need professional help. Mood changes can be caused by a variety of things. Determine if they are caused from situations or if they could be a health issue.
Notice how long the moodiness lasts and how severe it is. If it affects their daily living, it is probably something that needs checked out. You might consider keeping a journal with notes just in case they need to see a doctor.2. Do a self-check of your emotions
While you are checking your partner’s emotions, check yours as well. Could any of your moods or behaviors be contributing to your partner’s moodiness? Do you find yourself feeding the moodiness by reacting to them in a certain way? Is there something you can do to change, so you can be more helpful rather than harmful?3. Choose your battles
Sometimes moodiness is an attention-seeking behavior. When this is the case, you need to decide whether or not it is worth addressing. Be considerate of what your partner feels is important, but decide for yourself what can be put aside for the time being and the sake of the relationship.4. Set boundaries
All healthy relationships have boundaries. Boundaries tell us how far we can go without causing more harm. Your partner needs to know what those boundaries are. If they are yelling or screaming at you, let them know you will be happy to talk to them when they have calmed down. Tell them you do not talk to people who speak to you in that manner. They need to know that behavior is unacceptable, and you will not engage with them.5. Love them or leave them
If you have tried everything and are still dealing with a moody partner, you need to make a serious decision. You need to decide whether you will choose to love them despite the moodiness or not. If you can’t live with it, then you need to leave the relationship, or at least distance yourself. If you decide to stay, keep these tips in mind.
Whatever you decide, let them know how you are feeling about the change in their moods and how it affects your life. They deserve to know the truth regarding your feelings. Who knows? Maybe expressing your deep feelings is all they need to make changes that benefits the both of you.

It’s an unfortunate part of life: Some people cheat. And, while no one wants to be the person who was cheated on, people have a sick fascination with what goes down during cheating, when it happens, and how it happens. Now, a new survey is looking to answer some of those questions.
For the study, UK website Superdrug Online Doctor asked 2,000 people questions about cheating and came up with some surprising answers. For starters, most people who cheated said they only did it once, although less than half admitted to having regular affairs.
Women were also more likely than men to say they cheated more than once, with 40 percent copping to it.
The survey also found that women were more likely to cheat because they felt their regular partner stopped paying attention to them, while men were more likely to step out because the other person was hot.
Here’s where it gets really interesting: The survey asked cheaters where they met the person they cheated with, and the answers are sure to fuel any insecure lover’s paranoia.
These were the top responses women gave. Men had similar responses, although they were more likely to pick up a fling at a bar than women or seek one out online.
While a lot of people say their partner never found out about their indiscretions, the majority of those surveyed said they regretted cheating. So, yeah, as always, don’t cheat.
1. They were a friend
41 percent of respondents cited a too-close pal as the one coming between her and her significant other.
2. They met them at work
You never mix business with pleasure, but, unfortunately, 33 percent of the women surveyed said that the workplace is where their indiscretion went down.
3. They met the while they were “out and about.”
Maybe she was stopped on a run, or happened to strike up a conversation with someone at a café. Whatever the case, casual, real-world interactions accounted for 18 percent of all responses.
4. They met them in a bar.
On that note, a night at the bar led to 12 percent of the cheating instances.
5. They met them on social media.
You can’t stop another man from sliding into her DMs, and 7 percent of the women surveyed just couldn’t resist the advances.
6. They met them on a dating app or website.
If you’re in a relationship, it may not be a good sign that she still has Tinder or another dating app downloaded on her phone. Still, this platform accounted for just 5 percent of all responses.
7. They met them on a business trip or vacation.
A weekend away could be enough to put her world’s apart from you. But this situation was a factor in just 4 percent of all responses.

We all enjoy a really good kiss, but did you know that locking lips with someone makes you live longer, helps prevent tooth decay and burns calories?
Apart from the obvious bacteria swapping and reducing stress levels, it turns out there is plenty more to know about a good snog with your partner, lover, or whoever else you happen to be swapping saliva with.
Author David Wolfe has produced a video on the 11 thinks you never knew about kissing, and these are the surprising facts, captured UK’s The Sun…
1. It increases life expectancy
Men who kiss their wives in the morning live five years longer than men who don’t.
2. It prevents tooth decay
Kissing increases the mouth’s production of saliva, which helps to clean the mouth and prevent tooth decay.
3. We swap more than just germs
We swap an average of 9ml of water, 0.7mg of protein, 0.18mg of organic compounds, 0.71mg of different fats and 0.45mg of sodium chloride when we lock lips.
4. But there are still A LOT of germs involved
One millilitre of saliva contains about 100,000,000 bacteria.
5. It actually burns calories – get kissing, ladies
Couples can burn anywhere between 2 and 26 calories per minute while kissing and can use up to 30 muscles.
6. We do a lot of it
The average person will spend an estimated 20,160 minutes of their lifetime kissing. That’s 336 hours, or 14 whole days.
7. Some more than others, it seems
The longest kiss ever recorded was 58 hours, 35 minutes and 58 seconds – nearly two and a half days.
8. Our brains know how to find our lovers lips
Sixty-six per cent of people close their eyes during a kiss. Our brains have special neurons that help us to locate each other’s lips in the dark.
9. It can stop us falling ill
There is some evidence, from past studies, to suggest that kissing provides us a means of protecting ourselves from certain viruses.
10. It’s more than just fun – it’s stress relieving
Holding hands and kissing reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol, thereby lowering blood pressure and optimising immune response
11. There’s a scientific reason for why we want more
When you kiss someone for the first time you get a spike in dopamine, which makes you crave more.

Nollywood star Ramsey Nouah has revealed that his kids suffer a lot of backlash because of his profession as an actor.
Due to the constant backlash, it is always difficult for him to go out with his kids and have fun.
Making the revelation in an interview with JoyNews’ Becky, Ramsey said most often he tries to be nice to his fans to the detriment of his kids who deserve his undivided attention.
“My kids suffer a whole lot of backlash [because] of my profession because it’s pretty hard for us to go out and have fun in public places. Most times when I go, I always have to be nice to the fans, taking pictures and neglecting them and they feel bad about it, they don’t enjoy it,” he narrated.
The unfortunate development is no fault of his, he noted, explaining that, “unfortunately, that is the cross they have to carry and that’s been going on for years.”
Because of this, the fine actor said, he has devised a strategy so “most times I enjoy most of the best moments with my kids in private.”
Ramsey Nouah said he tries to keep his children out of the public eye.
As a father, he wants “sanity. I want them to have a mind of their own. I don’t want them to believe that [they can] back ride on the glory of their father, no. I want a situation where they can become independent and they can take this chance of their own. It’s a mentality that I [try to] curb.”
While he enjoys his work as an actor, he won’t push his kids into the profession.
“A couple of people ask me, your kids, will you bring them into acting… it’s their choice. I wouldn’t forcibly train them in the line of acting but I will train them in whatever I see that they are more comfortable with,” Ramsey said.
The actor married Emelia Philips-Nouah in 2002 and they have been blessed with three children – Camil Nouah, Quincy Nouah and Desiree Nouah. He has a fourth child from a previous relationship.
