Enjoy a breezy sunny day with old shoulder ensemble anywhere with a few styling guidelines
I have conceded to the fact that the heat is here to stay. So short of wearing chiffon throughout the next march as we attend 77 DOGS ask the lord to bless us with friendlier weather. I realized how freeing it is to wear a cold shoulder top or dress.
The best part of this is you can wear of the cold shoulder styles be it body com dresses or frill tops. They can be worn anywhere.
They can be accessorized according to the occasion but pants or pencil skirt for office and a cut out cold shoulder dress for a dinner date. The over sized cold shoulder dresses are amazing for a barbecue or cocktail.
When it comes to shoes, with the dinner pumps are fine; same applies to the office ensemble. The outdoors barbecue then flat sandals, be it gladiator sandals or slip ons even just flat or wedged canvas can do.
Belts and hats are a good addition if you feel your outfit is not too busy, maybe you have bold hues and you want to spruces things up with some color.
You could wear your hair tampered, untidy bun of just down. For necklaces anything is ok, but maybe the earrings could be simple.
Don’t to share your style tips or just your fashion with us. Stand a chance to appear on our site by sending your fashion story to firstname.lastname@example.org. we can’t wait to hear from you.
Thousands of Makerere University finalists have all reasons to smile today especially basing on the fact that the first round of the university’s 67th graduation ceremony has been successfully completed. Big congratulations go to those who have graduated and one of the people we have to congratulate too is Swangz Avenue’s freshest signing Vinka real names Veronica Luggya.
The dancehall artiste who recently announced her entry on the music scene with a breakthrough tune ‘Level’ has also today graduated with a Bachelors’ degree in Leisure and Hospitality. The artiste was too ecstatic about this and when Chano8 was tipped, we contacted her for a comment and she had this say.
“School is done, more music” Vinka briefly told us but when we went ahead to ask her on what plans she has for her day, she said she will have a simple dinner with her family.
Just like she said, On her journey to give her growing fans more music, Vinka has a fresh tune ‘Stylo’ where she features former Swangz Avenue member Irene Ntale whom she (Vinka) was managing before joining the music industry.
We are not sure whether she is willing to go into her profession now that she has a booming music career ahead of her.

Denis Onyango kicked off from where he left off with silverware as his team Mamelodi Sundowns took this year’s CAF super cup with a one goal victory over DRC’s TP Mazembe at Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria.
This victory comes a few weeks after the Ugandan stopper signed his four year deal to remain at the South African club. The sole goal was scored by Ricardo Nascimento, nine minutes to full time.
Being his Seventh trophy in all competitions, Onyango was so excited.
“I’m so happy for this achievement and it’s every players dream to win all trophies that they participate in. After not having a good show in Japan at the club World Cup (where Sundowns lost all their matches), I had to work hard and get back to the top because I needed the confidence towards the New Year,” he said.
The Ugandan vice-captain also added that this victory is only going to make him work harder and keep him focused and motivated towards a good season this year.
Already, his club is seated in the 5th position with seven points separating them with table leaders Kaizer chiefs with 18 games played.
Onyango helped Mamelodi Sundowns win the Caf Champions League title thus becoming the first goalkeeper and Ugandan to ever win it as well as breaking the same record for the African Player of the Year accolade (based in Africa).

Ever since Friday last week, Anne Kansiime has been in the headlines after various websites and blogs reported that she was recently arrested in the United Kingdom at the Heathrow airport after she caught with 2kilogramms of cocaine.
This was first published by an unpopular blog called Metro-UK. But yesterday the same story was posted on the same site but about a Sierra Leonean musician named Emmerson Bockarie.
And this brings us to a conclusion that it is a hoax with the writers of the blog only looking at likes, shares and comments for the blog.
On Friday, Anne’s manager, Emma Kakai went to social media to clarify about the situation and described the news as a baseless rumour that is just intended at destroying the comedian’s public image.
“It is a pity that some online tabloids find it exciting to fabricate stories that tarnish the image of honest hardworking people. We kindly request the public to reject helping such tabloids grow their following. We would like to acknowledge all our ninjas who have shown genuine love and concern by inquiring from us what is going on.”
She said before adding that Kansiime is a role model to many across different age brackets, something that she doesn’t take for granted, and is highly committed to.
- Chelsea to Host Manchester United in the quarter finals.
- Arsenal Fc to play Lincoln FC.
- Is there another London Derby in our sights?
FA cup finals are proving to be as competitive and compelling as the Champions League. After a rather amazing display of football the past weekend, Manchester United has been pitted against Chelsea FC the current table leaders in the English Premier League.
Chelsea who has managed to maintain their position as number one in the premier league will face off with the current sixth position holder Manchester United. Zlatan_Ibrahimović came off the bench to score the winner as holders Manchester United had to work hard to beat Championship strugglers Blackburn in the FA Cup fifth round.
Striker Ibrahimovic was allowed too much time in the box to latch on to fellow substitute Paul Pogba’s pass and tuck in from close range to set up a quarter-final tie against Premier League leaders Chelsea. Danny Graham had given the hosts the lead with a rising finish following excellent play by Marvin Emnes, who himself had tested Sergio Romero with a thumping effort moments earlier.
In response, Rovers goalkeeper Jason Steele pushed away Ander Herrera’s fierce shot, but Marcus Rashford equalised for the visitors by going round the goalkeeper and slotting in from Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s precise pass. Rovers striker Anthony Stokes had a goal rightly ruled out offside following Romero’s triple save late on.
Tottenham will host a London rival in Millwall, who dumped Premier League champions Leicester out on Saturday. Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, meanwhile, will travel to Middlesbrough if they can overcome Huddersfield in a replay at the Etihad Stadium on February 28 and their reward is a quarter-final tie with 12-time winners Arsenal, who overcame another non-league side in Sutton United on Monday night.
Arsenal beat Sutton 2-0to make it to the quarter finals and will be playing Lincoln FC. If all goes well, Wenger’s Gunners will sail through to the semi finals and nothing will stand in their way this time round. Will we see another derby if Chelsea beat Manchester United?

Solome Basuuta’s soothing sounds are back to torment our senses with this new ballad that is slow as to captivate the spirit and powerful in its echoing message to break the hardest heart yet smooth enough to melt the stiffest knee. ‘Nsuubira’ is no ordinary sound as it speaks in different sounds which are harmoniously packaged in a moving melody that can easily send one to slumber land.
It is that unique and vibrant contemporary sound which sends you to the past and moves you slowly back to the present before jerking you to the future like a magical time machine whose technician knows exactly where your suitable destination is at every moment of the song just like your favourite ‘Boda Boda’ man who knows the speed at which you like your rides before dropping you off home after a hectic day’s work.
This is the type of music curved from the past but re-built for the future as it resonates effortlessly through generations past, present as well as for the future in content, style and flow. You are sometimes left wondering; ‘how did we reach this place?….how did we reach this point?’ just like her opening lines which she whispers gently.
From the intro as the chiming bells drop, chills are sent straight through the spine and one can already tell it’s a mellow journey to some kind of hidden, far away paradise. All you have to do is, sit down, relax and surrender to the rest of the gentle forces that will cuddle you through.
Just like the tone of the song which directs the inner soul into the future, ‘Nsuubira’ which was produced by Fred Wallace according to the soft-spoken Solome, is a Luganda word that means ‘ I Hope’ and an ‘encouragement to us to hold on to hope despite what is happening in our relationships.
She paints her powerful message in a colourful melodramatic, powerful chord aided by her rich and fresh vocal ability – which by now is the envy of many an aspiring singer. She moves from this low key, almost whispering faze before bursting to life in a seamless transition with that ‘Nje Nsubira’ cry which she keeps repeating with utmost assurance and confidence almost making it sound like a classical acapella with just the acoustic guitar and soft drums barely audible in the back ground.
Solome who is abundantly gifted is a singer, song writer and worship leader. She burst onto the music scene in 2014 and has since been steadily rising with her unique blend of contemporary music style which surely is destined to take her places. She bellows her message with passion and engages her audience directly as her music speaks to the soul. She also hopes to change many lives and inspire generations to come through music.
All we are waiting for is an equally creative video for ‘Nsuubira’ to spread the word further.

Last Year, one of Uganda’s Music Veterans Dr Jose Chameleone did not hold a concert despite the fact that his ardent fans expected it especially basing on the fact that he holds major concert every year. Towards the end of 2016, the ‘Badilisha’ singer announced that he was going to host a concert in March this year and this truly raised the fans’ mainly because he last had a concert in May 2016 dubbed ‘Wale Wale’ at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
The reasons why Chameleone and the management pushed the ‘Legend Hit After Hit’ from March to Friday the 19th May are still scanty but all we know is that his (Chameleone) fans were preparing for showtime as it had been confirmed and announced that the concert was to happen then at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The latest on our news desk is that the concert has been further pushed to Friday the 26 of May which is just a week and a day from the earlier designated date. Chameleone took to social media to inform the fans on this abrupt change of date saying;
“For the purposes of quality and perfection, we have switched our concert from 19th to 26th May 2017 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Mark the dates and Let us fly the Flag High. Lugogo Cricket Oval Stadium 26th May 2017 we are going harder.”
After the main show at Cricket Oval, The self proclaimed ‘Heavy Weight and Music Doctor’ will head to Colline Hotel Mukono of Saturday the 27th and finally at Freedom City Mall on Sunday the 27th.
There is no other announcement so fans you have no excuse of ‘I was not told’. Brace your selves for a mega concert although they have not yet officially announced the entry fee.

- Nutty Neithan’s performance excited revellers at the Jinja Club Dome over the weekend
- He called upon female revellers to join him in the fun who danced to beats of his songs
- You will not believe what he did to one of the girls live on stage
The Club Dome event Jinja edition that took place on Saturday the 18th of February at Crested Crane Hotel had a lot of interesting things that took centre stage like the music performances, indoor and outdoor games, comedy but one of them worth remembering was Dancehall artiste Nutty Neithan’s performance who toook to the stage at a few minutes after 10 PM.
Nutty and Maro were the main headliners of the event but Nutty’s showcase was not only thrilling but funny as well. Fans had nothing but to ululate when Salvado the host announced he was going to take to the stage next. With all the energy associated with Dancehall music, the artiste kicked off his performance with songs like ‘Follow My Rules’, ‘Bakuwe Kyonywa’, ‘What Did You Do’, ‘Mulimu Ki’, ‘Walk To Work’, ‘Jiggle’ but more excitement grew in the crowd as he performed ‘Footballer’.
He called upon two female revellers who danced to the song’s beats. It later got to a time when he personally danced with them and one of the girls was seen romantically rab-a-dubbing with him. All this was happening as the crowd cheered on. The other thrilling part was when the second girl ran off stage but Nutty followed her, grabbed her hand and brought her back on stage.
He lifted her and then ‘dry-humped’ her in a real Jamaican style several times before moving off stage while carrying her in his arms.
Check out the pictures because we have only the best
Just like other districts namely Kampala, Mbarara, Gulu and Ishaka had a taste of the Club Pilsener organised social event Club Dome last year, Yesterday the 18th of February, Jinja district also for the first time experienced a dose of musical performances from top notch artistes, indoor and outdoor games, comedy and live Dj mixes all at Crested Crane Hotel’s grounds.
The night was hosted by the official MC Salvado alongside MC Hype and Urban TV’s Denzel. Anticipated performances were led by Dancehall artiste Nutty Neithan who took to the stage at 10:22 PM. With all the energy, Nutty thrilled fans performing songs like ‘Mulimi Ki’, ‘Bakuwe Kyonywa’ among others but as he performed ‘Footballer’, the crowd was thrown into frenzy by the dance moves he pulled with one of the girls he picked amongst the attendees.
Born in Jinja, the next artiste Maro was welcomed with lots of ululations from the crowd and he had an equally amazing performance singing songs like ‘Embera Zo’, ‘Nkwagala’, ‘Atooti’, ‘Addicted’ and ‘Kyoyenda’. However, the performances were not about the above two but there were other showcases from SK Simeon Dj Dash, Roja and Slick Stuart, Jinja based artistes namely Kim Nana, PQ and the Swengere comedy family.
The Apart from the performances, the event boasted of other things that excited and caught people’s attention like video games, mobile beach where revellers were seen chilling at, volley ball, pool and table football. From Kick off time, the revellers seemed to have been impressed by the event and this was evidenced by the crowd’s excitement especially when it was time live Dj mixes from Djs Dash, Roja and Slick Stuart.

Lately, artistes are somewhat at loggerheads with the media for what they say are defamation stories and the latest artiste to come out claiming that a certain website defamed him is Allan Toniks who claims they wrote a story about how he impregnated a Makerere University student.
“As a Makerere university alumni, I must say it’s embarrassing to see that the highest institution of learning in the country, which ought to be setting the example of what dignity, integrity respect & professionalism should be; is instead associated with this website, currently the best example of what unethical & fraudulent misbehaviour in journalism truly is! Whatever happened to reporting truth, accurate and constructive information to society?” he said.
He added that the website has been promoting fictional lies and immoral concepts to mislead the young generation which is unfortunate and sad.
“So, I assume staff the website are proud of their “achievement”. I don’t know if its obsession with Toniks or if it’s just boredom, ignorance, poor judgment, myopic thinking, pure evil, lack of creative ideas or simply stupidity that drives someone like an obscure someone by names of ” Leah kamalinda” to come up with such defamatory concoctions,” added the ‘Kumulamwa artiste.
Adding that he has taken his fair share of such foolery from people he always assumes do what they do because of their small Mindedness & inferior intellect, however when one decides to set a wrong example to corrupt Uganda’s young bright minds which are the future of our troubled nation for the sake of likes and clicks.
Arguably the best video director in Uganda for the past three years, Savy Filmz’s Sasha Vybz has also called it quits to all Ugandan award ceremonies, two days after Sheebah was excluded from the Club Music Video Awards (CMVA’s) and a week after Bebe Cool also quit.
Sasha hasn’t clearly stated his reasons why he made this drastic decision that only leaves a few prominent figures contending for the CMVA’s happening next month but this might be based on the fact that he might not be contented with how the organizers do their categories.
It shouldn’t be forgotten that the director a few weeks back was beaten to the best video director by little known NG Filmz UG (Dr Nolton) in the HiPipo music awards.
Sasha Vybz just like the rest used his social media platform to pass on this information writing that.
“We prefer not to be nominated again in any Ugandan awards. Please respect this humble request.” He said and also went ahead to tag award organizers like Hi Pipo, Club Music Video Awards, Uganda Entertainment Awards among others.
Sasha Vybz has short videos like ‘Wale Wale’ by Chameleon, ‘Sente’ and ‘Na Na Na’ by Bebe Cool, ‘Mwana Gwe’ by King Saha and ‘Kisasi Kimu’ by Sheebah among others.
When we mention FIFA president, one name comes to mind. Sepp Blatter why? Because he has served the longest term ever until last year when he was forced to step down and when he did, Gianni Infantino was voted into office but he hasn’t made a name like his predecessor.
Uganda is poised to be among the first African countries to have a visit from the new FIFA president next week on Sunday the 26th and this is going to be a historic visit because it is going to be the first time a FIFA president visits the Pearl of Africa.
The 47- year-old will be in Uganda for two days for a FIFA summit and this comes from a particular fondness he has for African football, having flown to South Sudan on his first working trip as the head of the world’s most popular game.
With the visit, Infantino will also meet the president of Uganda according to Magogo, the FUFA president who is also the host.
“We have duly engaged government to ensure that the Fifa president meets President Museveni to discuss more government involvement in football development.” Magogo said.
It is expected that Infantino, will lay the foundation stone for the Fufa-Kadiba ground project. The project will be funded under the FIFA Forward Project where Fufa will receive $5m over four years from the world governing body.
Were you a good viewer of the Sqoop On Sqoop TV show that used to air on Urban TV from Monday to Friday with a repeat at 9PM? Well, many people used to like it, at the same time many disliked it especially celebrities because she was always on their case, talking about what wrong things they do, their weaknesses and who should fix them to mention but a few.
During the last quarter of 2015, Luswata left the show and the little we knew was that she had flown to the UK for holiday and meeting her boyfriend. This was sort of a relief for the celebs but on her return in May 2016, she did not immediately resume her work at the Jinja road based TV Urban. She later welcomed a baby girl in November and from then we have not heard from or seen her back on TV.
News reaching our desk from an inside source at Urban TV is that her bosses are badly in need of her services again. Chano8 was tipped that they call Luswata’s phone every day although she has not yet gotten back to them. The question remains. Now that Urban TV is need of her services again, will she put a thought to it and go back or is she now looking at raising her baby?
A day after Bebe Cool excluded himself from the Club Music Video Awards; Sheebah Karungi under the directive of her management team led by Allan Kiwa also came out and distanced themselves from the awards.
That would have been okay but Allan went a little overboard by releasing a statement that might spark off a bitter war between Team No Sleep and Club beer management.
Allan Kiwa in his statement advised the beer company to stick on brewing beer than getting involved in awards that they know nothing about.
“We advise that if you may please stick to brewing beer and leave the music to the people who know what music is made of for its not wheat. Come to think of it we have seen your top management employees resigning first it was Shem Semambo and now Daniel Ogong please resolve that first.” was part of his statement.
It was as though Allan was pouring out his anger on the beer company because he questioned the credibility of the awards after they took a break for two years without any reasonable explanation.
He also talked about how the awards recruited foreigners’ organizers and judges for home grown awards which he calls an insult to the music industry.
To prove his point, Jeff Kiwa’s brother threatened to take legal action against Club if they don’t comply with their request.
Sudhir Ruparelia’s acquisition of Kampala Parents School (KPS) has always been uncertain. With allegations that, it was grabbed maliciously from the former owner, Edward Kasole Bwerere the former Member of Parliament for Buwekula County in Mubende district after he failed to pay back a loan from Crane Bank. However, during an exclusive interview, the former owner managed to clear the air as far as KPS and Sudhir are concerned. In what you could call a confession, has said he has never complained about the manner in which City tycoon, Sudhir took over the school and dismissed the social media messages which he said are fake and untrue
According to Kasole, he went out as a willing seller and that, the willing buyer he got was the Ruparelia Chairperson. They negotiated, agreed and Sudhir paid him fully. “I went out as a willing seller and I found a willing buyer. We sat and negotiated and we agreed and the man paid me fully and I walked away,” Kasole said. Kasole said he had not even met Sudhir before. It’s only the late Mr Kassaga Zzimwe who was a parent in the school who connected him to the buyer. “After I had sold the school, Mr Sudhir requested me to stay behind as an advisor. On request. And I stayed for a year. And he wanted to renew my contract and I said, ‘no’. I have trained you,’ He added.
Kasole further stated that, in that one year he stayed after selling the school, when holding parents’ meetings, he used to be the chairman and Sudhir used to sit in a certain corner only introducing him as the next owner of the school. Kasole went ahead to reveal that his relationship with Sudhir is excellent, praising him as a good man who paid him fully thus he doesn’t have any issues with the rich man. However, the former owner urged Sudhir to spend more time at the school to avert criticism from parents. Kasole said the problem arose in the prestigious school when parents learnt that he was soon leaving the school yet that was the last thing they were expecting to happen to them and the school at large. He said parents used to love him so much because he knew how to handle the school issues majestically thus advising Sudhir to pick a leaf from him.
“Parents were used to use their looks for someone they know.I was shaking the hands of every child; looking at every child’s handkerchief and shoes. And greeting parents who brought the children. Those differences are still ringing in parents’ heads,” Kasole said.

We don’t really want to go back to the stories of Irene Ntale leaving Swangz Avenue, which camp she is in, who replaced her at Swangz etc. The news coming to our desk is that Swangz Avenue camp’s Vinka and former member Irene Ntale are releasing a fresh audio and video for their new collabo dubbed ‘Stylo’.
It is a Love Dancehall tune produced by Eli Arkhis in which Vinka is heard singing about a ‘hot’ man who she loves and how he makes her and other girls blush everywhere they see him. She confesses how the man is the best she knows and the video is a real Dancehall set up where we see night scenes in a ware house.
From the trailer chano8 watched, the video set-up looks on point as we see Irene standing in a cage and Vinka who is in thick leather attire later pulls some dance moves alongside other vixens all in the 20-second video teaser that has raised anticipation in the fans so far. This video that was shot and directed by Swangz Video’s Marvin Musoke follows another that Vinka recently dropped to her first ever song ‘Level’which introduced her on to the Dancehall scene.
Although Vinka and Irene are rumoured not to be seeing eye to eye, Julius Kyazze the boss of Swangz Avenue told Chano8, that they are working under a contract and fans should brace themselves for yet another brand new audio and video to the ‘Stylo’ tune.

- Manchester United beats French side Saint Ettiene 3-0 in the Europa league.
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores a hatrick.
- United in full control ahead of return leg.
Manchester United shine as they face off with Saint-Étienne in the Europa League Thursday night with a 3-0 win. The Red Devils appear to be the only English club to be successful in this week after Arsenal lost to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
If Manchester United is to return to the Champions League next season they have to pull up their socks in the premier league to at least come in fourth to be able to qualify. However they are likely to owe a considerable debt of gratitude to Zlatan_Ibrahimović. Ibrahimovic’s hat-trick, his 21st, 22nd and 23rd goals of an impressive debut season in England, put United in firm control of this Round of 32 tie ahead of Wednesday’s second leg in France and once again underlined the 35 year-old’s importance to the club’s hopes this term.
No wonder José_Mourinho has conceded it would be a “disaster” to lose the Swede to injury. To put his goal scoring exploits into context, no other United player has yet to reach double figures. While Anthony Martial appears to be coming to the boil again and Marcus Rashford came off the substitutes’ bench to set up United’s second goal moments after Nolan Roux, a Saint-Etienne substitute, fluffed a glorious opportunity to equalize, the dependence on Ibrahimovic is clear.
Christophe Galtier, the St Etienne coach, felt Ibrahimovic was lucky to win fouls from which he claimed his first goal with a deflected free-kick and third from the penalty spot, but when the margins are tight the big players make the difference, and so it proved here. The game was a lot closer than the score line suggested and Mourinho was the first to acknowledge that United were as lucky as they were relieved to depart for the interval sporting a 1-0 lead.
He had sensed his players were in for a ropey first period judging by the mood in the dressing room and warm-up before kick-off, and while there was a reaction to Mourinho’s half-time rollicking, the Portuguese warned his players that they would have to show much greater focus from the last 16 if the Europa League is to remain a viable alternative route into the Champions League.
“The first half we played so bad and managed to finish it winning 1-0 when we didn’t deserve to; It was down to a lack of concentration. I had the feeling immediately in the dressing room – too noisy, too funny, too relaxed. My assistants had the feeling in the warm-up with some of the guys not really focused, not having the right adrenaline in their bodies. When you don’t have that concentration it’s hard to recover it and even on the touchline I felt communicating was difficult. We needed half time.” said the United Manager.
“This is the decisive moment of the season; in a short time everything can change so it is important to keep working hard, get the wins we need and keep the confidence.” Ibrahimovic said.

- Arsenal losses 5-1 to Bayern Munich in a dreadful night to forget
- Bayern in full control of tie as Wenger ponders next move.
- Is it time for Arsene Wenger to leave the club?
Arsène_Wenger’s English side might be the facing the end of their road in the champion’s league after Arsenal FC was embarrassed by Bayern Munich FC on Wednesday earlier this week when they were defeated 5-1. Arsene Wenger was visibly devastated and fears they won’t be able to come back from this loss.
Barring an unlikely four-goal turnaround at the Emirates Stadium on March 7, Arsene Wenger’s side are set to exit at the last-16 stage for the seventh season in a row after goals from Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski, Thiago (2) and Thomas Muller condemned them to a heavy loss at the Allianz Arena.
Defender Laurent Koscielny limped off injured four minutes after half-time but though there is doubt that his influence could have made a difference. Once Bayern got their noses in front they kept passing and moving it in great positions. In the second half the German side made it hard for The Gunners to create any formidable moves to save their team, which is disappointing.
They could have just stayed in the game at 2-1 or even 3-1, but it was difficult when their top players, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were not even getting a touch. They couldn’t even get a kick of the ball because Bayern were keeping the ball so well. It was really demoralizing and in the end they picked Arsenal off. The result will fuel calls for Wenger to stand down as manager after more than 20 years in charge.
It is the same old Arsenal. Familiarity almost breeds contempt for some of the supporters who just want a change from Arsene Wenger because they do not see any light at the end of the tunnel. The fans are bored. They want something different and might get that in the near future and it will be interesting to see how Arsenal moves forward then.
David Ospina was preferred to Petr Cech in goal, but Walsh refused to blame him, instead pointing at star names such as Ozil and Sanchez. Claiming they were questioning Ospina before the game, but he had a really good game and made several good saves. The goalkeeper was nothing to do with it. It was a generally bad day in the office.

- Barcelona beated 4-0 by PSG.
- The city of love was not so lovely after all.
- Can the Spaniards make a come back in the return leg.
In a shocking turn of events the much anticipated game to kickoff the champions league didn’t end so well for the Spanish side Barcelona FC when they were walloped 4-0 by their French counterparts PSG (Paris-Saint-Germain) in the City of love on Valentine’s day. As the rest of the world was celebrating with their loved ones, fans of the prominent Barcelona FC went home in tears and no amount of flowers or wine could console their broken hearts.
Ángel_Di_María scored two stunning goals as Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Barcelona 4-0 on Tuesday to take control of their Champions League last-16 tie.In one of the most remarkable performances in the competition’s history, the Ligue 1 champions completely dominated Barca at the Parc des Princes, taking the lead through Di Maria’s free-kick after 18 minutes. Julian_Draxler added a second in the 40th minute before Di Maria curled home their third from the edge of the box 10 minutes after half-time.
Edinson_Cavani sealed the rout with a low strike to put PSG in a formidable position ahead of the second leg at the Nou Camp on March 8. The score line, which equals Barcelona’s worst ever Champions League defeat, could have been even worse on an awful night for the Spaniards, who also squandered the chance to grab an away goal when Samuel Umtiti’s header struck the post from point-blank range.
They will need to make Champions League history to advance as no side has progressed after conceding a four-goal first-leg deficit. Luis Enrique made three changes from their 6-0 victory over Alaves, while Unai Emery recalled Draxler as one of two alterations from PSG’s win at Bordeaux.
